Rudy Nielsen, R.I. (BC) F.R.I. President

Rudy is a legendary real estate expert with extensive experience in timber cruising, appraising, property acquisition, land development and strategic marketing. There is little Rudy has not marketed, sold, purchased or appraised in the past 40 years. His areas of expertise include ranches, farms, ocean and fresh water resorts and timber properties and he holds a diploma in Appraising from the University of British Columbia. Rudy and his team of specialists bring extensive expertise and passion for recreational real estate and have a keen ability to identify a vision for the highest and best use of the property.


Dean Nielsen, BBA Vice President

Dean has 25 years experience in buying, developing and marketing rural real estate in British Columbia. While Dean’s formal education is in finance and marketing, he spent several years during the 1980’s and 1990’s managing NIHO’s timber operations (including timber cruising, site development, road construction and harvesting). After steering the worldwide web marketing for the Cayman Islands Government in the late 1990’s, Dean returned to NIHO, organized a team of top-tier contractors, and spearheads the subdivision and development of many of NIHO’s prime property holdings. He currently leads the direction and strategic planning for the NIHO Group alongside his father, Rudy Nielsen.


Kelsey Breakey, B.Comm Marketing Director

After working for companies such as Scotiabank, CP Rail and, most recently, Cossette Communication Group, Kelsey joined the NIHO Group of Companies to lead their marketing initiatives. With a specialty in target profiling and data segmentation, Kelsey uses her experience to combine the expertise of NIHO and the data of Landcor to create effective and innovative marketing campaigns for NIHO’s consulting clients.


Robert Hinkley, PAg Project Manager

For more than 30 years, Robert has been a leader within the agriculture industry and the private and public sector of land classification, management and marketing. His specialized skill set gives NIHO Land Consulting an unparalleled edge when it comes to identifying the most valuable and optimal use of rural agriculture and recreational properties. His expertise in evaluating soil quality, conforming to government regulations and optimizing land value is used by the NIHO Group at all stages of the consulting process.


Christopher White, ROWP Development Manager

Christopher has worked with NIHO Land and Cattle Company for over 14 years. Specializing in both septic system design and project construction, Christopher plays a key role in the permitting and construction processes of NIHO developments. Christopher oversees onsite septic approvals, road building, building site layout and construction, utilities construction, roadway design and environment sustainability, Christopher ensures that every NIHO development is managed responsibly and efficiently to utilize the best possible use of the property. His knowledge base is used by NIHO Land Consulting to assist in identifying areas of developmental opportunity, forecast the required investment, and make the NIHO vision come to life.
